The floor plan of the house was designed in order to maximize the usage of the lot. The design consists of three main bodies; the garage, the living area and the sleeping quarters. The house begins with the garage and main entrance located on the lower section of the lot, escalating to two split levels on to the higher section of the lot, that frame the beautiful Sedona red rocks. The living area has a intended loft like feel, where the kitchen, dining area and living room not only share the same open space but also have the function of a breezeway with large sliding doors on either side of the room.
The “U” shaped floor plan creates both a very private and nested court yard making the outdoor experience extremely relaxing. The exterior of the house is contemporary Santa Fe where shapes and plains intersect with each other giving the house a very clean and dynamic look.
